Nobody’s Art
Dear friends,
My own Nobody’s Dance – my own life – is taking so many unexpected turns, that I can imagine a new book will be written in the near future. I don’t know of course. That’s how it is when you allow your life to be a Nobody’s Dance. It’s not something you control, it’s not something with long term plans or strategies. It’s a dance. What else is dancing than allowing creativity and divine energy, in the present moment?
In the last few weeks, I have been giving up things, in the following order: a home, a love story, a job. At the same time, I found these same things. The world is my home, more than ever. My heart is overflowing with love, more than ever. I am making myself available for the job I really must do in this life, more than ever. In the midst of all these changes that I didn’t plan beforehand, there is one thing I feel most privileged about: it is my heart showing the way. My mind sometimes asks: what the hell are you doing? In the present moment my heart just always knows what is right. It tells my mind: don’t ask why.
Nobody’s Dance practice is all about the mind surrendering to the heart. It’s about giving up our projections of the past and becoming available to the infinite creativity of the present moment. And live, my God, live! What else?
That’s what we are going to do in Italy this summer. We are going to practice living. We are going to dive deep during our morning practice, to connect to our heart energy. And we are going to allow our creativity in living together, in playing, swimming, cooking, making art.
I myself would like to make ‘Nobody’s Art’. The picture above is work of Herman de Vries, a famous artist of the Zero Art movement. He makes art of things he collects in nature.
You are very welcome to join me in one of the Nobody’s Dance summer weeks. Go to the calendar page of the website to find more information.
Much love,
Zoë
